Genodix Prepares for Job Fair
A remarkable set of the best scientific teams has been assembled to work with the Genodix Corporation on exciting new discoveries in human genomics this coming weekend. Genodix employees are working hard to ensure that this event will lead to extraordinary breakthroughs in human therapeutics. "We're busting our butts to get everything ready", says staff scientist Fatima Sigorski. "We've heard really great things about the teams who will be attending the job fair, so we're working overtime to make sure we can do some exciting science."
It will certainly be an eventful weekend of science, starting promptly at 9:00am. (Pre-registration will take place from 8:30am to 8:45am.) "We'd like teams to get to know each other," explains Fatima. "We plan to reward the team that brings the best food for everyone to share. Nothing too elaborate--it should be under $20--just something to help introduce teams to each other." Science doesn't get done on an empty stomach, as Genodix scientists certainly know. "Maybe if we're lucky the teams will bring something for the Genodix scientists", jokes Fatima.
Putting together a scientific event such as this is no small matter. "This has required quite a large investment", states Margaret Lehman, Genodix's Treasurer. "We've had to make a substantial investment in our scientific infrastructure in order to ensure that the best minds could do the best science." Teams who have not made their investments with Genodix should do so immediately. "Investors who have questions can always contact us", says Lehman. "Late payments by cash will be accepted during the pre-registration period of the Job Fair only as a last resort." And who knows, maybe a tasty snack would encourage Genodix to waive the late fee.
All teams participating in the Genodix Job Fair should fill out the registration forms before arriving at the event. "No sense in letting a little bureaucracy stand in the way of science", explains Oblio Wattles, director of Public Relations.
